Dikkowita South Fishery Harbour, established in 2013, distinguishes itself as the well-known fishery harbor specifically designed to accommodate large vessels. It holds the distinction of being the exclusive fishery harbor in Sri Lanka equipped to cater to international vessels. The Dikkowita fishery harbour proudly claims the title as one of the largest among fishery harbors in South-East Asia. The harbour is strategically located on the western coast of Sri Lanka, approximately 6 km north of Colombo Port, and 24 km south of the Colombo International Airport.
